nice to meet you!
I’m Bea.
I’m a multimedia artist based in Brighton UK, who has spent my whole life with a pen in hand. My work moves freely between traditional and digital techniques; ink, gouache and watercolour textures meet hand-drawn line work, layered to create images that feel intimate and tactile.
I’m especially drawn to botanical illustration and the decorative richness of Victorian and Art Nouveau motifs. I love exploring warm, moody environments: velvety shadows, gilded details, curling fronds and muted jewels create a rich tapestry of inspiration. These influences inform my compositions, colour palettes, and the way I build pattern and ornament into my personal narrative.
I am available for select projects, and would love to work together to nurture your vision into reality. To read more about my approach, please scroll down.

My Approach
Collaborating on your project, I’ll bring:
A lifetime of drawing practice and a confident command of both analogue and digital media.
A sensitive eye for botanical elements combined with a decorative, period-inspired flourish.
A knack for warm, moody atmospheres that add depth and emotion to illustration-led storytelling.
Flexibility to adapt style and palette to suit branding, editorial, packaging or bespoke commissions, while keeping a distinctive, hand-crafted feel.
If you’re looking for illustrations that blend natural detail with timeless charm and tactile textures, I’d love to bring your project to life.
My ethos
The central ethos of my practice is:
I will never use generative AI in the artworks I create. Human-made will always be a mark of integrity; art is and should always be a celebration of the raw and heartfelt beauty of the human mind. I do not consent to any of my work at any stage being used in conjunction with, or altered by AI.
Where possible, I enjoy working with brands and individuals with an ethical focus and intention in their daily practice. For my printing, I work with a carbon neutral fine art lab offering vegan and eco friendly papers, and I repurpose their offcuts for smaller one off pieces.
If this aligns with you, then I look forward to seeing what we can create together.
I listen
I listen to your words, sketching thumbnails to capture the intention and flow of your project. I translate your voice into honest illustrations with clarity and heart, building upon conversation and collaboration to put forward human-centred design that feels representative of your vision.
I Provide
I deliver your finished artwork as high‑resolution, print-ready digital files (PNG, JPG, TIFF or PDF and layers on request). Files are colour‑calibrated and optimised for web or print, with clear usage notes as required. Physical prints can be arranged and shipped from my Brighton studio.
